This comes in a nice crush resistant, cardboard box. When you open the box, what you find inside is great. I know a door stop is nothing to get excited over, but this one is so refined looking, and well made that a whole new realm of gift giving opens up to you, if you're a "gifter" like me. The stainless steel gives it an elegant look that would go well in any home. The non-marking black rubber treads will hold even heavy doors open. It even comes with a hook so you can hang it by the handle next to the door when not in use. The door stop is 5 inches long and 2 inches wide, so it wouldn't get in the way if you don't hang it. This would make a beautiful housewarming, or even wedding gift, and the old adage says that if you leave your door open, good things can flow right in. If your lost about a gift for someone's 25th anniversary, you could even use this. The silver color of the door stop would be perfect coupled with the adage, artfully written. It's good looking, and goes with any décor, from your home to your office.
